Today we are continuing to build on traditional agriculture. As we don’t want to deprive you of the incomparable flavour of the Zillertal valley, in our hotel and the hotel restaurant you can enjoy authentic regional dishes, prepared according to traditional recipes and carefully seasoned by hand. We also use high-quality products that we have produced ourselves, and mountain herbs from our very own herb garden.

Alpine pastures in the Stilluptal valley
The cows, calves and pigs on our Alpine pastures love lazing around. Their favourite pastime is grazing under the sun all day, breathing in the fresh mountain air and ringing their bells. The pigs grunt happily every now and then, while the cows also sometimes stop and seem to flash a contented smile at the farmers.

Fly fishing, not only for locals: The Moigg family owns the fishing rights in the Stillupptal, parts of Ziller and Zemmtal valleys. Our guests simply get the guest fishing card at the ElisabethHotel, and let the "fly" fly... Then bring your catch home to the hotel and let our kitchen prepare it for a perfect dinner feast. But no worries, also guests who are not into wading the brooks of Zillertal valley in rubber boots get to enjoy freshly caught trout. Because fresh fish from the crystal clear Alpine waters are very healthy and tasty.

Was macht ein Naturhotel aus? Ist es der Standort inmitten der Natur? Umringt von saftig-grünen Wiesen, einer spektakulären Bergkulisse, natürlichen Gewässern und frischer Luft? All das schätzen wir besonders an unserem Zuhause, dem schönen Bundesland Tirol. Und auch Sie können die Region zu Ihrem Zuhause machen – zumindest auf Zeit. Abgesehen von dem Naturschauplatz rund ums Hotel, gibt es noch ein paar weitere Kriterien, die wir erfüllen möchten, um uns stolz als Naturhotel zu bezeichnen. Für uns bedeutet dieser Begriff nämlich noch viel mehr: Natürliche Materialien im Hotel, heimische und regionale Produkte auf der Speisekarte und ein nachhaltiges Wirtschaften bei allem, was wir tun. Kurz gesagt: eine starke Verbundenheit zur Natur und eine Wertschätzung gegenüber allem, was sie uns zur Verfügung stellt.
Wir achten auf einen möglichst ökologischen und natürlichen Hotel-Alltag. Dazu gehören Kosmetik- und Pflegeprodukte auf Natur-Basis, Lebensmittel aus biologischem Anbau und die Reduktion von Wasser- und Energieverbrauch sowie Abfall. Kriterien, die für uns längst Standard sind, und die es unserer Meinung nach für ein Ökohotel braucht. Wir sind stolz auf unseren Nachhaltigkeitsgedanken und bestrebt, diesen immer weiter zu leben und zu vertiefen. Und wir freuen uns, wenn unsere Gäste unsere Bemühungen spüren und vielleicht etwas daraus auch nach ihrem Urlaub in ihre eigenen Gewohnheiten übernehmen können.
