So it’s no wonder that the Zillertal, and Mayrhofen in particular, made an international name for itself as a destination for mountain climbers fairly early on. Eight via ferrata routes challenge climbers of all levels. Amongst these via ferratas, you can find routes with varying degrees of difficulty, and even a dam wall, which is a challenge just waiting to be taken on. Defy the laws of gravity in the spectacular natural scenery of the Zillertal Alps and overcome your own limits. The via ferratas in Mayrhofen-Hippach are also regularly maintained and inspected, and guarantee a huge amount of climbing fun with the highest level of safety possible.

Leap, abseil and slide your way through gorges with some rope, a wetsuit and a good amount of courage. Your canyoning adventure begins just two kilometres from Mayrhofen and is an experience filled with pure adrenaline. Or become part of a team in a raft and pull your weight in the gushing River Ziller. Master rapids and powerful currents, all the while using your muscle power to keep the boat balanced.
